Seven Passionate Women
Our story is the evolution of our dancers' visions, talents and ambitions translated into a troupe’s culture, a defining movement, an art. Ameya Performing Arts was founded in June 2016 in Chicago by seven passionate women brought together and empowered by dance. Ameya’s meaning, boundless, defines the troupe’s outlook on performance. Dance is endless and accepting.

Master Classes
Our master class series is available for groups, organizations, and schools where dancers have an intermediate to advanced understanding of dance. Our classes are tailored specifically to the needs of the group as well as the desired outcome. They are challenging and fun, making it a great way to grow in one’s dance training. To discuss hosting an Ameya master class, please submit a general inquiry form.
Dance Workshops
Ameya hosts seasonal workshops throughout the year in order to engage with the community and offer a safe space where people can learn more about Indian dance, reconnect with it, and have fun. Dance Collaborations
Ameya believes in building a dance community. We work with various groups and choreographers throughout the year on special projects, individual training, and performance collaborations.
